Inside Our Romantic Valentine’s Day Menu at The Local on Morford

Valentine’s Day is one of our favorite days of the year. As romance fills the air, we love seeing couples come in, dress up, and linger over a long, cozy dinner. This year at The Local on Morford, we’re turning the weekend into a full celebration with an indulgent Valentine’s Dinner for Two. 

Here’s a look at our special Valentine's Day menu and what to expect when you join us on Morford Street.

A Whole Weekend of Valentine’s at The Local

Instead of just one night, we’re celebrating Valentine’s all weekend long this year!

From February 13th to February 15th, our Valentine’s special will be served starting at 4 PM, reservations only. Our regular lunch service will be available until 2:30 PM each of those days.

We’re doing this to let you pick the night that works best for you. Whether you want to come in on Valentine’s Day itself or prefer a relaxed Friday date night, we want to give you options to spend quality time with your loved one. 

How the Valentine’s Day Menu Works

Our Valentine’s Dinner for Two is designed to be shared, so you can linger over each course together instead of rushing through your meal.

For just $100 per couple, you’ll get to enjoy:

• One shared appetizer

• Your choice of soup or salad per person

• Two entrees

• One shared dessert

You get to choose your favorite combination, so you can indulge as much as you’d like. You can also pair this special Valentine's Day menu with a craft cocktail or glass of wine, available à la carte.

Start With an Appetizer for Two

Our shareable starters are built to be passed across the table and shared together.

Fried Green Tomatoes

Our fried green tomatoes are a southern classic for a reason. Crispy, golden, and layered with tang, they’re the kind of appetizer that makes you savor that first bite of the night.

Stuffed Mushrooms

Our stuffed mushrooms are rich, savory, and perfectly bite-sized. They’re a great choice if you want something comforting without being too heavy.

Crabcakes

If you want to start the evening off with a bit of indulgence, our crabcakes are the way to go. Lightly crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor, they pair perfectly with a craft cocktail or glass of wine.

Next up on the Valentine's Day menu, each of you gets to choose between fresh, crisp greens or a warm, luxurious soup.

Caesar Salad

With crisp romaine, parmesan, and Caesar dressing, this classic is the perfect choice if you want a tried-and-true favorite.

House Side Salad

Our house side salad keeps things light and colorful, with fresh greens and toppings that prepare you for the main event.

Lobster Bisque

Still in the mood for seafood? We’ve got you covered. Our lobster bisque is smooth, rich, and feels especially fitting for a special night out.

Entrees for a Romantic Night Out

For your main course, each of you will choose an entree. We’ve built this list ot offer something for every type of Valentine’s diner, from steak lovers to seafood fans. 

Surf & Turf

For couples that want to go all out, our Surf & Turf delivers. A 12-ounce New York strip, cooked to your liking, is paired with chargrilled shrimp, creamy redskin mashed potatoes, and crispy Brussels sprouts. It’s hearty and perfect for a special occasion.

Grilled Vegetable 4-Cheese Tortellini

A beautiful option for vegetarians or anyone who simply loves pasta. Tender tortellini is filled with four cheeses and paired with grilled vegetables for a dish that’s rich, satisfying, and comfortable.

Bourbon Glazed Salmon

If you’re in the mood for something on the lighter side, the bourbon-glazed salmon is your pick. The glaze brings sweetness and depth, paired with a wild rice pilaf for texture and nuttiness. With a side of garlic green beans, each bite is bright and balanced.

No Valentine’s dinner is complete without a little something sweet! Each of our options this year is created by local bakery Oh Sugar!
